Compositing
I’ve taken a lot of inspiration from the traditional local wood carving to for the composition of the final piece. I would like to manipulate and experiment on some of the local motives with my own visuals. I’ve sketch a few composition to give me an idea before I did the the final one using After Effects.
I realize a lot of the wood carving composition is symmetrical in the vertical reflection. It creates sense of balance into the composition and I wanted to explore on that.
After experimenting on a few composition I felt that I would like to have a series of work instead of just one final piece for the final exhibition.
