London Sculpture Week

Coordinated by Celina (In Transit) from 2025 – ongoing

London Sculpture Week brings together five leading London cultural initiatives — East Bank, Frieze Sculpture, Fourth Plinth, Sculpture in the City and The Line — for a citywide celebration of public art.

Held over nine days each September, the programme brings together tours, performances, talks and other events, exploring how sculpture connects people, place and public life — how it speaks, remembers, protests, plays and dreams. Across the city, it offers new ways to encounter sculpture and see familiar places differently.

Across the 2025 and 2026 editions, In Transit Space coordinated the programme, working with partners including The Line, Sculpture in the City, Frieze Sculpture, East Bank, the Fourth Plinth and Bloomberg Connects. We served as the main point of contact for partners, managed the London Sculpture Week website and social media channels, developing content to promote the programme and its events. We also coordinated and delivered the London Sculpture Week symposium, moderated by Dr Jacek Ludwig Scarso at The Warburg Institute in both years.

Our curatorial work included leading the development of the digital guide on Bloomberg Connects with input from partners. In 2025, we grouped sculptures around shared themes, helping audiences draw connections between works. In 2026, we took a geographical approach, linking sculpture locations across Central and East London.

To reach a more diverse audience, we introduced a family activity pack in 2025 and updated it for 2026. The 2026 edition also introduced exploring prompts, encouraging audiences to spend time with sculptures, look more closely and consider their surroundings.

Across both editions, the work combined project management, partnership coordination, curatorial development and audience engagement, shaping how people could navigate, discover and experience sculpture across the city.
